Diamond cut alloy wheels

Every kind of alloy wheel damage handled in one workshop, from a single kerbed rim to a set that has corroded through the lacquer.

Alloy rim repair

The rim edge meets the kerb before anything else does, and it is the only part of the wheel that has to hold air.

Powder coating alloy wheels

Stripped to bare alloy, coated, and cured in the oven so the colour sits even and holds through winter.

Custom colours and finishes

Colour changes matched to your paint code, or something quieter, built up in stages and cured properly.

Buckled alloy wheel repair

Wheels pulled back to true on the machine, checked, and refinished, so the vibration goes and the tyre seals again.

Tell us what the wheels need, or message us on WhatsApp. We come back with what the work involves and how long it takes. No obligation. No sales call.

  2. 02

    Preparation

We collect from your door across central Scotland. Tyres off. Old finish stripped to bare alloy. Never coated over someone else’s half done job.

  3. 03

    Refinishing

Diamond cut, powder coat, cure. Each stage is checked before the wheel moves on, so corrosion under lacquer and uneven coats do not leave with the set.

  4. 04

    Delivery

Tyres refitted, balanced, and brought back. Most sets turn round in a couple of days. Your car stops looking unfinished.

Finishes

Alloy wheel finishes. See the difference

Drag the handle. Left is the damage winter and kerbs leave behind. Right is the wheel after diamond cutting and lacquer. Then choose the finish before it goes on the lathe.

  • My 23 year old motorcycle wheels had had a hard life and had built up quite a bit of corrosion. Diamond managed to get rid of all of it and the wheels have turned out fantastic. They even powder coated an awkward sprocket carrier.

Questions

Straight answers on alloy wheel repair

The things people actually ask on the phone, answered here so you do not have to ring to find out.

It depends on the wheel, the finish and the damage, so we price each job rather than publish a list that would be wrong for most cars. Send a photograph of the wheels and we will come back with a clear price and a timescale, with no obligation.

Most sets turn around in a couple of days once they are with us. Wheels needing structural repair or a two stage colour take longer. You get the timescale with the quote, before we have your wheels rather than after.

Yes. Single wheels are a large part of what we do, particularly kerb damage. Bear in mind a freshly finished wheel sits brighter than three that have weathered, and we will tell you honestly how noticeable that will be on your car.

We tell you before we start. Wheels are inspected on collection and anything unexpected is raised and priced with you at that point. Nothing gets added to an invoice after the event.
